An art exhibit by students of Highland High School’ s art teacher, Renee Vandevander, is on display at the Highland County Public Library now through March 7th.

The students’ teacher had this to say about the show:

For the first time the Highland High School Art Class is presenting its show in January. Highland High School switched to block scheduling this year and our semester ends on January 17th. The students have risen to the challenge of art class being structured differently with a longer class period, and only half the year to accomplish their artistic goals.

The Students are pleased to showcase examples of their creativity and diligence. They have found inspiration in animals, landscapes, humans and the elements of art; such as value, color and space. I am proud of their hard work and excited to present this show to the community.
