The Richard Williams Trio is back to help the Highland County Arts Council celebrate its anniversary once again! The group features William Hayes on piano and vocals, Richard Adams on sax, flugelhorn, trumpet, trombone, tuba, bass, and vocals, and J.T. Fauber on percussion. Together, the band plays hit music from 1899-1974 in an entertaining, historical show.
Joining the Richard Williams Trio will be a lineup of talented local guest artists, including Karl Sax and Vit Majer on recorders, Gregg Stump on banjo, Jason Canze on sax, and Lew Freeman singing tunes from the Great American Songbook.
This spectacular anniversary celebration will be held November 9th at 7:00 p.m. in the Highland Center. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students 15-18, and free for children 14 and under. Cider from Big Fish Cidery will be available during the performance at a cost of $5 per glass.
Don’t miss out on all the fun! Join us as we commemorate another year of bringing fine arts to Highland County.
This program is made possible in part by funding from the Virginia Commission for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Community Foundation of the Central Blue Ridge.
