Handmade for the Holidays Silent Auction
As part of the Arts Council’s December 12th festivities, a silent auction featuring handmade items by local artists will be held. The items are currently located in a window display next to High’s restaurant for public viewing. Bidders may enter their highest bids for any of the items and place those bids in the dropbox located in High’s. Bidders may alternatively send their bids to artscouncil@highlandcountyartscouncil.org. Bids should include the name of the item, bid amount, name of the bidder and their contact information (phone or email). Bids will be opened at the end of the day on December 14th and the winners will be contacted. Check out all the fantastic items in person or see them below.
Item Descriptions
Woman’s felted cloche hat
Felted wool hat, with additional angora and mohair fibers; maple leaf embellishment. It is not just stylish, but made to keep the wearer warm.
Small adult size or may fit a school age child in upper elementary or middle school, 17 1/2 inches inside brim.
